3Kicks Fine Art Studio is proud to announce the well known Art Center professor, Gary Meyer is doing a painting workshop at 3Kicks. Gary Meyer has worked on the first Star War movie in his earlier years of career. His clients also include major motion picture studios, theme parks, aircraft companies, advertising agencies, Apple computer, and Levis. Bill Perkins Watercolor Painting workshop Oct. 12th, 2008

Bill Perkins, a well known artist did a two day costume and landscape watercolor workshop at 3Kicks on Oct. 11th and 12th. Bill has worked as a concept artist, production designer, layout artist, art director and storyboard artist for companies like Walt Disney Feature Animation, Warner Brothers, Dreamworks, ILM, and 9th Ray Studio.







Bill started out the workshop with a slide presentation and explanation on values and contrast.

On the second day, it was time to go out and do a landscape! Students met up at a park in Pasadena at 10am with all their gears.
